Darwin Benett is the author of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. A Beatles fan since early childhood, he was inspired both by a lifetime of music and by his father's encounters with the young Beatles at Hamburg's Indra Club in 1961. He completed his first novel at the age of sixty.

Darwin Benett has been fascinated by the Beatles since the age of three. Their music became part of his earliest memories and remained a constant presence throughout his life. His connection to the band's story is also rooted in family history: his father encountered the young Beatles at Hamburg's Indra Club during the summer of 1961 and experienced that formative period at close range.

For many years, Darwin carried the idea of a fictional character entering the Beatles' early world while knowing what the future held. The possibility raised questions that extended beyond music history: could someone prevent tragedy without destroying everything that followed? Would knowledge of the future offer freedom, or create an unbearable responsibility? And could a second life repair the regrets of the first?

At the age of sixty, Darwin turned those questions into his debut novel, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. The book combines time travel and historical fiction with themes of friendship, love, courage, destiny, and second chances.
